About Susannah:
Susannah Smith, Ph.D., is a practicing Clinical and Forensic Psychologist, Mediator, Executive Coach, and Systems Consultant. She is a member of the National Register of Health Care Providers. She graduated from Vassar College with honors, completed her M.S. in Clinical Psychology at San Jose State University in California with honors, and received her Ph.D. from the California School of Professional Psychology in San Diego, with a double emphasis in clinical psychology and organizational development consulting.
Dr. Smith treats individuals, couples, and families, children, adolescents and adults. She has specialties in family systems, stress management, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), eating disorders, domestic violence, child sexual abuse, hypnosis, play therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and psychodynamic therapy. She has extensive training as a mediator for divorcing couples as well as for businesses, and conducts custody evaluations and expert witness testimony. She has worked and trained in the fields of domestic violence, child abuse, and substance abuse.
She is licensed in California, Colorado, Mississippi, Louisiana and Texas, and practices telehealth using a HIPAA compliant platform accepted by all insurance companies who allow telehealth.
